In Eudora 7.0.1 go to Tools, Options, Sending Mail. This screen looks like this:

Set secure Sockets when Sending to ‘If Available, STARTTLS'.

Select ‘Last SSL Info' radio button.

(Note: This option is not available on version 5 or 6)

If warning screen pops up saying, "You have never done any SSL negotianation with any personality since the last time you started Eudora" click OK, cancel the options window and try to send an email again. This should set certificate info into the program.

After trying email, the following Eudora SSL Connection Information Manager screen should pop up:

Click on ‘Certificate Information Manager' radio button.

Under Server Certificates you should see a certificate with a skull and crossbones on the left.

Highlight that line and click the ‘Add to Trust' radio button.

Click ‘Done', OK, OK.

Your email should send your queued mail..
